Unarrow is a free puzzle game. You can play without an account; a Google account is only needed for friend duels and cloud save. This page explains, in plain words, what the game uses and why.
Levels, daily stars, hints and settings are saved on your phone. If you sign in with Google, we also store your name, email address and this progress in our Google Firebase database so it can be restored on a new phone. Other players you duel or chat with see your Google name and profile photo; your email is never shown to anyone. You can sign out any time on the Me screen. We never collect your contacts, photos or location.
Unarrow never shows ads between levels. A short video plays only when you tap for an extra hint (after your 3 free ones) or to get a heart back. Ads come from Google AdMob, are limited to family-friendly (PG) content, and stay muted when game sound is off. AdMob may use your device's advertising ID; you can reset or delete it in Android Settings › Google › Ads.
Anonymous gameplay statistics (for example which level was finished or abandoned) and crash reports are sent to Google Firebase so we can fix bugs and balance difficulty. They are not linked to your identity.
With your permission we send reward reminders (for example when your free hints refill or a gift is waiting), daily-challenge reminders and occasional offers. You can turn them off any time in Android Settings › Apps › Unarrow › Notifications.
Internet: to load optional ads and send crash reports. Notifications: optional, asked once. Unarrow does not use your camera, microphone, contacts, files or location.
Premium passes (Ad-free, Ad-free + Verified) and chat coins are one-time purchases handled by Google Play. We never see your card or payment details. Passes last for the period you buy; coins never expire. What you bought is stored with your Google account so it follows you to a new phone. Refunds follow Google Play's refund policy.
If you sign in with Google, your Google name, profile photo, level and points are shown publicly on the in-app leaderboard so other players can see your rank and challenge you to a duel. Players who are not signed in are never listed. Your email is never shown.
The monthly leaderboard runs from the 1st to the last day of each month. At the end of the month the top 3 players receive in-app prizes only (no cash): 1st, 1 month Ad-free + Verified badge and 50 hints; 2nd, 15 days Ad-free + Verified badge and 30 hints; 3rd, 15 days Ad-free and 20 hints. Prizes are added the next time the winner opens Unarrow while signed in, cannot be exchanged for money, and may be withheld if a score was manipulated. To leave the leaderboard, sign out in Me, or email us to remove your entry.
Signed-in players can send text messages to each other. Messages are stored in our Firebase database so both players can read them, and are linked to your Google name and photo. Don't share personal information in chat. You can block any player, and reports (including the reported message) are reviewed by us; abusive accounts may be removed.
Every player gets 3 free messages a day (Premium players 10). Daily free messages expire at the end of the day (UTC) and can't be saved. After that each message costs 1 chat coin. Coins are bought separately through Google Play, are stored with your account, never expire, have no cash value and can't be refunded once used.
While you are signed in and the app is open, other signed-in players can see that you are online (a green dot) and when you were last online. Close the app or sign out to appear offline.
If you install Unarrow from a friend's invite link, Google Play tells the app who invited you. When you sign in, we record that link between the two accounts so your friend can receive chat coins. Nothing else about you is shared with your friend.

To delete your account and all data stored with it (progress, wallet, chats, leaderboard entries), email vaylonexlabs@gmail.com from the email address of your Google account. We delete it within 30 days.
